Family, Filmmaking & Cycling
The video below showcases two of my loves.
Time to expand on who I am...
I've been making short films since I could borrow the cameras on my A-Level Media Studies course at Godalming College. Next I pursued a Philosophy & Film Degree at the Farnham Institute of Art & Design. Then studied for a Masters in Film & Broadcast Management at Bournemouth University.
It seems my whole career has involved coordinating, filming and editing. From various film and TV production companies in London and then specialising in live events capture at a production company in Godalming. Becoming self employed in 2006.
Since 2006 I have been filming weddings and shooting short drama projects. Some of which have won awards.
On top of this I am a keen cyclist, I have cycled from Lands End to John O' Groats, toured through Italy and Denmark. I have completed the off road tour which circumnavigates Mont Blanc across the countries Italy, Switzerland and France.
My proudest achievement has been to cycle the 100 mile South Downs Way route from Winchester to Eastbourne in one day. This was a tough one!
My filmmaking heroes are Lars von Trier and Ingmar Bergman with plenty others in between.
I love coffee and have spent all my years in Brighton visiting every coffee shop that appears. Brighton is still my favourite city and I am so lucky to live here.
If you would like to chat about your wedding or project feel free to get in touch anytime and I will answer as soon as I can.
